Blog Move!!!!!

Okay... what the hell?! Blogger is changing their rules... again. Now, they will no longer allow adult pictures and they are looking into not allowing adult content either. Rather than waiting for that bullshit to happen I am moving my blog. It will be at Wordpress. I had originally started there but moved it here because I was doing reviews for free sex toys and they made it so you can't do that. Well, since I don't do that anymore and they DO and have ALWAYS allowed adult content I am moving over there.

CLICK HERE TO GO TO MY NEW BLOG!!!!

I will no longer be updating this blog. I will leave it open until Blogger decides to delete it due to it's content. Everything here will be available at the new blow. If you would rather not click on the link here is the actual link for the blog: https://coyoteskitten4.wordpress.com/

I am re-learning how to do things over there so I will be playing with a few things but I will making new posts as usual. I hope you all follow me over there! The comments were imported as well.

Sad Face

I don't know if any of you noticed this when you visited my blog a couple of days ago but apparently my blog coding was hacked. I had no idea until three nights ago Master went to read my blog and a pop up ad opened in a completely new tab. Weird. I obviously don't code in any ads for my blog, let alone pop up ads. I thought that maybe it was a fluke but nope. The next day we tried it multiple times and it happened each and every time.

I double checked my layout as well as the actual HTML and none of it had changed. What the hell? I thought that maybe Blogger itself had been hacked by someone putting pop up ads on everyone's blogs. I went to their official discussion boards and while other people were experiencing it as well, it wasn't everyone.

I created my own discussion and went from there. I included my URL and explained what was going on. Well, there were three gadget codes I had on my blog that I didn't create myself and were not created by Blogger. You can search the internet for all sorts of little things to add to your blog to make it look nice. I obviously don't know how to do some of it myself so I would take them from tutorials on the web.

I have had these for over a year, so I thought nothing of it. But one of the Blogger reps told me that those three things had to be removed. They were causing the pop up ads. I didn't really believe it at first because like I said I had them for quite some time. I requested further information.

Apparently the gadget codes I used from those three tutorials were written by a hacker or hackers. Once these type of people think that they have enough people using the codes they just go through and alter one small thing and before you know it they cause pop up ads or worse. Thankfully this was only pop up ads. Some of them carry viruses or malware.

I was upset about it which may sound incredibly stupid. There was no harm done and all I had to do was remove those three things. However, the reason why I was upset is because I have worked really hard on this blog to get it just the way I want it. That includes literally hours of searching for the right kind of gadget codes I want that looked on the up and up and that I thought were awesome and then putting them in place.

The three things I had to remove were my blogger counter, my recent posts, and my recent comments.

As you may notice the recent posts widget is back but I used the Blogger approved one rather than the original that I had. It is very similar but not quite how I would like it.

I really loved the look of my recent comments gadget but of course that had to go. I searched and Blogger doesn't have an approved one available. I also loved my counter. Blogger doesn't have a nice looking one.

I really, really want to find a way to replace those but I don't want to risk something like that happening again. I realize it doesn't effect the blog really. It just effects the aesthetic. I think it bothers me more simply because I have worked so hard and gone through so many changes on this blog to get it exactly how I want it.

Quick Coding Rant *Updated*

I was searching for a couple things that I wanted to look a little better on my blog. First it was the RSS and Twitter links. The ones I had worked just fine but I didn't really care for the look of them or the placement. Thankfully I was able to correct that with a different code. Now they are in the upper right hand corner rather in the sidebar. I think it looks a lot better that way. It's not as distracting.

Then I decided that I wanted a better looking search bar. Again, I was able to find a better one. The new one isn't as blocky but still stays with the color theme. (It must match!) Those two were very simple. A couple of tiny tweaks. The search box was just changing a widget. There wasn't any need to go into the HTML/CSS. Rock on.

With the RSS and Twitter links I did have to mess with the HTML/CSS but it was super fucking easy.

After that I noticed something. The numbered page navigation that I have at the bottom of the blog is only going to page 72. Guess what? I have a lot more posts than that. For instance.... if you click on page 72 it only goes so far as August 9th of 2012. The first post in my archive goes to January 1st of 2009. That's a very, very big difference.

So I went back to the page I got the coding from to try and see if I had done something wrong. Nope it all fucking matches. As a result I decided to browse the web and see if I could find one that would actually work properly. Well, I think I found one but I need to remove the old one first. And since that coding is literally all over the place it would be a lot of little code removal and apparently not all of the coding matches anymore. I don't know if it's because the navigation was customized when I saved it somehow... Or if the code on the website I got it from was changed after I had grabbed it from there.

Fuck! Now I don't know which parts I need to remove in order to put the new one in. I read over the comments on the website I got the code from and apparently I'm not the only one having a problem. I tossed a comment on there as well and hopefully the person who created the code will be able to assist me in correcting the problem.

Either that or I'll drive myself absolutely bat shit crazy by trying to correct it myself. I know it's not a huge deal since I still have the archive in the sidebar but at the same time it irks me because I worked hard on this blog and for something to snag that up annoys the hell out of me. I'm not saying it's the code makers fault. For all I know I screwed a piece of it up so that it will only go back so far. Or maybe my template doesn't allow it to go back that far without further tweaking. All I do know is that I want it to be correct.

**Update**

Ha! I got it fixed! I basically had to completely start from scratch and reenter every single piece of code except for the page navigation one. It was a lot of work but in the long wrong it was easier than trying to find the pieces of code that I didn't want and deleting them while risking deleting other important pieces of code.

Rather than attempting to use the old code again to make sure I didn't screw it up I decided to look for something else. And I found it! What kind of ticks me off is the one that I found doesn't need me to mess with the CSS at all. It just needed me to create a new widget and enter it in there. Yeah, I had to tweak it a little since it was actually hiding the dates for each post but I got it working! And ya know what? There are 255 pages on this blog. I made sure it went all the way back. So 255 pages versus 72.. yeah... huge difference. I'm happy now. I did a little happy dance in my chair. Oh, and it still sticks with my color scheme so there.

Going Guano

Ya know... this whole being unemployed thing is driving me guano. At first it hadn't sunk in really. It all just felt like a really long weekend or a mini vacation of absolutely nothing for no reason. But now? Well, now it has me just trying to do what I can to keep myself busy. This probably explains my posting more than what is required, even if it is just rambling on about absolutely nothing what so fucking ever. (Like this post.) It also explains why I went into overdrive in changing my blog. Hell, even today I decided that a font that I could automatically select was too boring for the blog title, blog description, post titles, and gadget titles. Nope! Can't have that! Too boring! So while I had thought I was done dicking with it apparently I was lying. I promptly went to Google Fonts and found the one I'm currently using. I think it looks better. And now that it's not a "default" font I feel better about it. I prefer my blog to be a bit more unique. That may be one of the reasons why I decided I didn't want a downloaded template anymore. Yes, I had tweaked it to make it my own, but it still wasn't mine. And while this may not be as "clean" or as "professional" as the ones I can download, I still love it. It's unique. If I ever see it somewhere else I'll be more than a little shocked. Somethings will obviously look similar as I am using a basic template which I then built upon but that's not the point.

Although I am annoying myself by constantly wanting to change things so now I'll leave it alone. No. Really. I'm serious this time. *sigh*

Aside from throwing out my resume like it's going out of style I've been watching random shit on Netflix that I honestly would normally never watch but am now, for some fucked up reason, finding entertaining. Most likely because it is different. If I still had a full time job there is no way I would bother wasting time on it. But since I don't, I find it amusing.

I'm also reading books periodically. I picked out a different one from the small collection we have that I hadn't read in quite some time. I'll read it a little bit here and a little bit there. Sometimes I'll devour an entire chapter while other times I'm only reading half of one.

I'm really hoping I find a new job soon. Hell, I've been wishing that since the day I was fired. I can't believe it's been that long already. I've never had a gap in my work history that wasn't due to my going to college for a while.

And on top of the stress of not having a job I have all these things going on with my Grandfather. The things going on with Grandpa are a lot harder to swallow. While the being unemployed thing is hard and greatly effects our finances the situation with my Grandpa is hitting me on a deep emotional level. In both scenarios Master has been extremely supportive and I love Him for that.

I'm trying to stay in good spirits and to stay strong. It's not that I'm putting my brave face on. I'm just dealing with all of it the best that I can. I'm allowing myself to be vulnerable. I cry when I need to. I vent when I need to. I'm of course keeping Master updated on everything across the board.

So yeah...

Nothing Important

Well, you may or may not have noticed... but I changed the font to the headers on my blog. I guess I just kind of got sick of the old one. I was trying to keep my mind busy tonight due to certain family related news I received today. I asked Master for permission to just kind of take over the computer and nerd out for a while. He said yes. He had absolutely no problems with it.

He knows that when I just want to nerd out I'm normally doing it to keep myself distracted and He knows I needed that right now.

And really the only nerding out I do anymore is fucking with my blog. So I looked through hundreds, and I do mean hundreds, of fonts available. I just wanted to change the font for the headers. I don't like stylized fonts for the actual body of the post because I think it makes it harder to read. I know that if I go to a blog or website and the body of the post is in an abnormal font I find it annoying and nine times out of ten I won't even bother reading it. If it's just the blog title, blog header, etc. it's not a huge deal to me. In fact I think such things can add a bit of flare and flavor to the blog.

Anyway, I had been using a font called Rock Salt. When I first applied it I loved it. I thought it looked a little edgy, ya know? But I just got sick of looking at it. I wanted something different. So I decided on using this one. It's called Risque. How appropriate of a font name for a blog like this, right? *laughs* I love it.

Then I searched for new avatars to use within the blog post itself. I haven't done that in ages, which I'm sure frequent readers have noticed. Hell, sometimes when I'm selecting one for that day's post I sigh and go, "Yeah I guess I'll use that one again."

I didn't save a lot of new ones. I chose and uploaded eighteen new avatars. I know I don't need to use them. And hell, for a very long time I didn't. But I think they add a bit of character to the post itself and I enjoy picking one out to insert before I start typing. Sometimes, oddly enough, when I'm scrolling through the ones I have one will catch my eye and actually jump start a blog post idea. I know that sounds really stupid, but it's true.

So yeah. I just wanted to hop on here and post about absolutely nothing of importance. Just a quick: "Hey! Look at the new font and stupid little avatar!"

1,689

Okay, so a quick explanation on the blog post title. When I logged in to do my post for the night I see what I always see. But for some reason my eyes stopped on the number of posts I've done on this blog.

It is 1,688. Which makes this post number 1,689. Holy shit. And what's funny about that is that when I moved this blog here I could only transfer my blog posts from as far back as 2009. That means that two years worth of blog posts aren't even here. I have no idea how many more posts that would have been. I didn't blog as faithfully back then as Master didn't require it. Right now He has it to where I do a blog post every other night rather than every single day like I usually do.

So let's go through some more statistics here. According to the blog counter there have been 549,747 hits as of right this very second. That is amazing! And that's only since I put the blog counter up. I would say for a good two years I didn't have a blog counter at all. As a result, I have no idea of the real total. But still, that's damn amazing.

The top five places that my "fans" are located as far as the past month goes:
  1.  United States of America
  2. Russia
  3. Germany
  4. United Kingdom
  5. Canada
I don't know why I find this so fascinating tonight. It's odd how when I first logged on I had no idea what I was going to write about as I am rather brain dead at the moment due to a really long day at work.

But when I see the number of posts I all of a sudden go on a statistics frenzy.

Blogger tracks all of that. Hell, it even shows me what the most popular web browsers are used when viewing my blog. It's not like I know who is looking. It's nothing like that so please don't let that "scare" you off of reading here. It's this way with all blogs on Blogger. It's just general and vague statistics.

I'm so happy that so many people from all over enjoy coming here and do so repeatedly. I'll admit that I get curious about what the most popular posts are from time to time. I tried just adding the direct widget, but I don't like the size of the text on it and I can't figure out how to alter that. I want it to be like my recent posts where it shows the thumbnail and a small snippet of the post. The snippet portion is the one with the text size issue. I may try again at a later time to see if I can fix it. But for now, I removed it.

Evolution

I just kind of want to veg out mentally. So, I'm just going to kind of ramble and if you can keep up, awesome. If not, I totally understand. I don't really have much to say in regards to real life. And I don't want to. So there.

I remember when I was a little girl I thought it would be awesome to have a diary. I wonder if every little girl goes through that. Never mind you don't really have a lot to write about at 9 years old, but that didn't stop me from wanting one. And I got one for my birthday. I think it was more just wanting to have something that I could put my oh so important little girl thoughts in, rather than actually sitting down and writing in it. I don't remember writing in it very much at all. It was a simple little hard cover diary that was smaller than a pocket sized soft cover book. It didn't have a lock or anything. I did write in it, kind of. I did more doodling than actual writing. As I got a little older, probably closer to 12 years old I wanted one that locked. Because my little brother had opened the one I had without a lock! How dare he look at my doodling.

So I got one of those. It was another hard cover diary. It was white with flowers all over it. It had this little clasp on it where you would put this tiny as hell key in it to unlock it. It didn't really do anything. I mean, you could easily pry the damn thing open.

After a while I decided I was too old for a diary. I didn't keep one during my teen years. Which is kind of weird. All of my teen friends had one. I no longer felt the need to have one. After all, I had only ever doodled in the ones I had in the past. Why bother?

Then I met Master. About 6 months into our relationship He wanted me to start keeping a diary. We saw each other twice a week and He would read it when He came down to visit. It all started with how I was feeling, what I was thinking, etc. about our dynamic. It was in it's baby stage back then. It took a long time to get it where it is now.

I kept those hand written diaries for a long, long time. I wrote in a hard cover diary for four years. Of course, it didn't take long for them to fill up. So I would store that one away and get a new one. And so on and so forth.

It was very shortly after we got married that Master allowed me to keep a blog rather than writing in a hand written diary. Well, I take that back. For a few months He had me do both. I don't remember why. He had a valid reason though. I just can't remember what the fuck it was.

Eventually it just became the blog itself and the hand written diary stopped all together. After all, it's a hell of a lot easier and quicker to type than it is to write things out by hand. The odd thing is that I still have every single hand written diary I wrote while we were together before the blogging started. Four years worth of diaries. They are just chilling in our bedroom closet. I haven't gone back and read them in a long time. I never really felt the need to.

Every now and then we'll talk about how I should just get rid of them. Toss them out. It hasn't happened yet. It might when we move. I have no idea.

My blog though.. holy hell has it gone through some changes. It started on Blogger and I coded the whole thing myself. I thought it was the shit at the time. But I remember how it looked and I shudder at the memory of it. It was horrible. But hey, I was just starting out.

Then I heard all these whispers about Word Press. So I jumped ship. I was there for quite some time. I did different themes and templates. It went through more face lifts than I can even remember. I even paid them to allow me to change it up to the way I wanted. You couldn't just upload a theme and tweak it for free. I thought it was worth it at the time though.

Suddenly their rules changed and they were not to my liking at all. I can't put my finger on exactly which rules they were but they did directly effect my blog. I was pissed because I had been paying them to basically upgrade my otherwise free blog and now I had to deal with their bullshit rules? Fuck you very much!

So back to Blogger! And here it is. I don't really know how long it has been back here on Blogger but it feels like a long time. Again, it has gone through facelifts. I couldn't settle on a template to save my life for the longest time.

Eventually I settled on the one I have now. It's the same template but it was blue for a long time. All of a sudden I felt the need to change it up again. But I couldn't find a theme that I loved as much as I do this one. So, a tiny facelift rather than an overhaul. I just took the blue and made it purple. And now that it's purple I actually like it more. Funny how just changing the color of links can make you happy.

Hopefully I can keep the nerd in me quiet for a long time now. I love how it looks. And I'm going to keep it that way for as long as I can. Hell, maybe this is how it will look from now on. Who knows. (Yes, I know I've said that before. But this purple is really, really grooving with me. More than I thought it would actually.)

Do I think I'll ever stop blogging? Well, not unless Master tells me to stop. It's not my choice, it's His. I know that I have to get back to topic. The blog is supposed to be a slave blog and yet, lately, I've been posting about everything but slave like things.

Note to self: Start blogging about what this damn blog is supposed to be about! Ya dumb bitch.

So... I make a promise to post about slave like things. Other topics may come now and again but I seriously need to get back in touch with that mind set. I think it will help relieve some of the stress I've had. Or at the very least help me get my focus off of the stress and onto something else for a while. Even if it is only for as long as it takes me to type out a blog post.

There you have it. The evolution of my diaries.

November 22, 2013

Purple!

Okay, so you remember how I said I was looking for a new template for my blog? Well, that turned out to be a bigger hassle than I originally thought it would be. Seriously. I just couldn't find one that I love as much as this one.

I was getting frustrated. I wanted to give up but at the same time I wanted to feed the nerd inside of me. It took forever and a day but a light bulb went off above my head. Seriously though it took forever before that damn light went off. I think, in total, I spent about 8 hours (not all in one shot mind you) just browsing themes and uploading them to my test blog if I happened to come across one I liked but then I couldn't get it to work the way I wanted to.

The light bulb was why not just tweak the one I have?! Duh! Master thought it was a good idea too. So.. I figured I'd just change the color. Instead of blue, it's purple. At first I thought about turning it red. I love the color red. But it just didn't look right. It was either too dark to show properly in the side bar or it was too light and I didn't like it. As a result, I started thinking about what other colors I could use instead.I thought about gray for a short period of time but I figured that would be too blah and dull. Not enough pop.

Of course if I couldn't use my favorite color why not use Master's? Purple. Of course the purple couldn't be too dark other wise it wouldn't really pop in the sidebar with how dark the side bar is. It's a little lighter than I thought it would be. It's more of a violet really. But I actually really like the way it turned out. I checked with Master after I had changed it all to see whether or not He liked it. He did actually. I was worried He would think it was too light.

Yes, I know it's my blog and Master has always said I can make it look any way I want it to. But I don't want my blog to be something He doesn't like. It's just the way my mind works. What would Master like? What does Master think? What would Master want? On and on and on.

I couldn't just stop at making the links purple. Since I had also used the blue color on my twitter account, and my avatar, and my blog counter.. well you get the picture... I now had to change it all to purple. And so I did. It honestly didn't take all that long. Once I got the color code right where I wanted it the rest was easy. It only took me about 15 minutes to find the avatar I wanted to use. (It had to stay in the tiger theme obviously.)

Just out of curiosity, what do you think?

Venting & Sex

I'm glad that I did that long as hell blog post last night. It helped me focus in on what was bothering me. And obviously, it still is bothering me. I mean shit like that doesn't just up and go *poof*. Although I will say that it isn't as bothersome. Now that I know exactly what is bothering me, I'm not wasting time trying to figure that part of it out.

Well, Master made the decision to basically tell BC no. So far. There are still three weeks to go before that date is actually here. Who knows what will happen between now and then. BC may beg and plead for our help or we might have a change of heart on the subject. Who knows.

I know some people think we're horrible friends because we don't want to help him move. But ya know what? We're really not. I mean it may be a shitty thing to not help a friend move. But honestly, it's not like other people don't tell their friends no. After everything I described in my last post, I think we have at least a somewhat good reason to say no.

Like I said, we may change our minds.

Last night's post felt kind of like a purging. I just needed to get it out there even though I didn't know I needed to.

If I had tried to talk about all of that out loud it would have tripped over my tongue and lips so much that I would have gotten extremely frustrated and just given up on trying to get it all out.

This blog has it's uses. They just don't seem to be all that frequent for me right now. I'm so settled in my dynamic position that there is no real need to explore it anymore. I would use it whenever I couldn't figure out what the fuck was going on or why I felt this way or that way about my submission.

So, unless it's venting I'm just not really sure what to blog about anymore. Well venting and writing about amazing fucking sex.

I have an original thought somewhere in this head of mine. I'm pretty sure of that anyway. I guess I just feel that I've covered everything twice, maybe three times, over in the six years I've been blogging. Yeah. I'm back to that line of thought right now.

Useful

Master and I were talking about my blog for a few minutes prior to my doing this post. I had asked Him what I should post about. He said He had no idea. Well, neither do I. So, I asked Him if He still found this blog useful.

It all started off with a hand written journal. We only saw each other twice a week for the first two years of our relationship due to the distance between us. Oh, and He would sleep over one night a month. It sucked, but what are ya gonna do? If You want to make it work you take what you can get and make the best of it. The hand written journal was so He could read what had been on my mind during the rest of the week, when He wasn't there. It gave Him more of an insight. Plus we had just started the dynamic as well as the relationship. We were in the early stages of both.

When we started living together it was still a hand written journal. It wasn't until we were married that it went from a hand written journal to a blog. Part of the reason why is because it's easier for me to do. It's also easier for Him to read. We were running out of room to put the hand written journals too.

Things still come across my mind that deal with the dynamic and my thoughts and feelings. But lately it's been day to day shit, work, and stress.

That's it.

And it sucks. But at the same time there isn't really a lot going on where I need to post about the dynamic itself. When it was all ups and downs before I was medicated it helped us both. A lot actually. But I'm "stable" now and haven't questioned our dynamic since being medicated.

His answer to my question was that He does find it useful when it's about my thoughts and feelings. But when it's the day to day shit, no He does not. And I understand that. Just as I don't really find it useful unless I'm venting, pouring out my thoughts, or writing about really incredible sex. (The sex thing is just so I can mentally relive it...)

Does that mean this blog is coming down? No. Does that mean I'll be posting less? No. Master has not said I can go down from posting every day, so unless He tells me I don't have to post or I ask permission to skip it and He grants it... I'll continue to post everyday.

I hope I stumble onto an interesting topic soon.

Love / Hate

I have sort of this love/hate relationship going on with my blog right now. I mean, I love my blog. I've put a lot of time and energy into it. I've changed how it looks several times. I've actually spent hours trying to find templates that I love and think fit. And more time tweaking it. I've moved the blog a couple of times too. This is actually the blog's third home.

It started six years ago here on Blogger. But then, for some reason, I switched to Word Press for a while. I honestly don't remember why. And then I moved it back to Blogger again. I know why I switched back. Word Press was putting too many restrictions on what I could and couldn't post. No ads. No links affiliate links. Etc. And I was paying extra just so I could control how my blog looked! Oh, and then there was the time they literally locked my blog. I couldn't access it at all and they had taken it down so no one could even see the damn thing.

Why? Because someone had sent in a complaint that my blog was too raunchy. Well, fucking hello I had it marked as adult themed, just like this one is. I actually had to call their customer service to get it all squared away. So yeah. Blogger it is. They don't take my blog down, they don't care what I post about as long as my blog is labeled adult themed and I can make it look anyway I want to for free. Fuck you Word Press.

Anyway, now that I have that mini rant out of the way.. The reason why I have a love/hate relationship with my blog currently is because aside from some of my recent posts I feel like I'm just talking about work and stress and work and stress.

I don't really have anything on my mind dynamic wise. I'm being good and doing what I'm supposed to. Master's grip on the leash isn't loose to the point of it being uncomfortable for me. I've posted about everything before as far as thoughts go anyway. I know a lot of people don't dig through the archives to go read those. But I know they are there. I know that I'm pretty much saying the same shit again.

Basically, unless it's a highlight or kinky hot sex... doing my posts just seem kind of whatever lately. It's still a requirement, which is why I do it. And it's not like I'm mad about having to do the posts. It's just okay... So what do I want to post about today? And it ends up being rambling. Like I said, I've had some good posts lately. But aside from highlights and kinky sex... it's been ramblings.

Hell, when I was first diagnosed with being bipolar I posted a lot about that. But that is pretty well managed and haven't have a serious issue since being properly medicated. Some hiccups here and there but nothing major.

So yeah....

Nerd Fest

Okay, my nerdness has caught up with me yet again. I was browsing the web and came across this really kick ass font that I absolutely love. So I did a shit ton of digging and found out what font it actually is. I then found it, downloaded it, and applied it to the computer. Now, I want to use it for the blog title and things of that nature. You know, some tweaking. But, since it's not a font that is on every computer (obviously) it won't show up correctly on the website and I'm not good enough at coding to get it to work correctly. Fuck. So then I came up with the brilliant idea of using images to get the look I was going for.

That didn't work out. I made the image for the blog title but then I couldn't get the fucking thing to sit where I wanted it to. I dicked with it for at least an hour and a half before scrapping the whole idea.

So then I decided, okay I'll just use a normal font that is on every computer. So I started playing with that and while yes, I can make it work, I cannot seem to find the font I want to change it to. Most likely because I have that other font that I can't get to work stuck in my head. Damn you brain!

I just get so damn obsessive about stupid shit like that sometimes that it drives me crazy. (More so than usual.)

Master allowed me to nerd the hell out until about midnight last night at which point He told me it was time to go to bed. I think I had been at it for about a good three hours or so and got absolutely no where with it.

Now, the crazy solution would be to find a blog template that I could more easily manipulate. But that takes finding a new layout that I love as much as I do this one. I've been there, done that. And while yes, I toyed with the idea of it, I ended up keeping this one.

I don't know. I guess I just haven't had a really good, long nerd fest in a long time and so it's biting me in the ass now and not letting go.

I would ask Master His opinion but typically when it comes to the blog it's all up to me. If He really doesn't like something, that's one thing. But other wise it's all in my lap. Sometimes when that happens and I can't make up my mind on it I feel a momentary "oh shit" moment.

So, let the nerd fest begin. Sorry if shit doesn't look quite right or completely different from time to time when you bounce onto here to read. Try to stick it out... Knowing me it'll most likely just stay how it is.

Pervs

Well, I still haven't made up my mind about the whole pictures thing. I really do not understand why I'm having such a hard time with it. I mean Master has the pictures up on various things... but still.

I guess it's that whole unable to make a watermark thing. I have a feeling that I'll end up doing it and it'll be it's own page. It won't be a post of nothing but pictures. I'd prefer to have a page labeled as a photo gallery.

Aw hell, who am I kidding. I'll most likely do that this weekend. If nothing else I just may create the page to see how it looks and just not post it right away for public view. That way I can look at it, see what I think of it and then make my decision.

I think that's the best way of going about it anyway. Other wise I'll just sit here running it around in my head. Should I or shouldn't I? Blah, blah, blah.

And also, that way I can have Master look it over before publishing it and see what He thinks of the pictures I selected.

Yes, I know He said it's completely up to me but I want to make sure the pictures are ones that He agrees with since there are stipulations to my being allowed to do this.

All I know for sure is that if I do end up doing this, it'll be the page with the most views. Just like it was last time. *laughs* Words?! Who needs words? There are nudie pic! Bunch of pervs, the lot of ya.

Plus, it'll give me something to do that is new with the blog. And I can always add more or take ones down, etc. and so on.

To Post... Or Not To Post

Master and I were talking today and the subject of my blog came up. I often ask what He thinks of my posts, how I am doing with it, etc. After all it is under His orders that I blog every night. (No that is not a complaint.)

He said that He's glad that I am getting back to the reason He wants me to blog. He doesn't mind posts about day to day stuff but He wants more depth to my posts. He wants me to post more about my thoughts, feelings, and my submission to Him in general. He knows that I can't always come up with something along those lines so like I said, He understands the day to day shit.

I, of course, was happy that He was pleased. I have been trying to break away from the day to day posts. Honestly, that's part of the reason I've started reading FetLife again. I hadn't logged in for well over a month. But reading threads and particular posts and/or comments will spark a thought in my brain and I can run with it, here on my blog.

He said something though that kind of surprised me, as we were discussing my blog.

A while back... honestly I don't know how long ago this was... Master had allowed me to put pictures on my blog. He actually really enjoyed that. But then, someone had to go and ruin it. People were yanking the pictures and posting them as their own on different sites. First off, that's me damn it! Secondly, that's Master's work! He takes all the pictures. I'm simply in them.

As a result,  He had me take them all down. I completely understood the reason of course.

Some time after that He told me that I could put up pictures as long as my entire face wasn't in them. So I had done that and before posting it I showed it to Him. He had a weird look on His face and said, "That looks kind of stupid without facial pictures." (It was a separate page, not just a post.) And so that idea was scrapped.

But He brought it up again today. He told me that He would allow me to post pictures as long as my entire face wasn't in them. This made me mentally take a step back. So I told Him about the conversation I mentioned above and apparently He had not remembered it. He apologized and said that He retracts the "That's stupid" comment.

So I now officially have His permission to post pictures again. However, He has left it up to me as to whether or not I actually do it.

I'm honestly not sure how I feel about it. I mean, it's not like my pictures aren't up somewhere on the internet to begin with. So I don't really know why I'm hesitating about it on my blog. I asked Him what He thought and He just looked at me and said, "I told you it was up to you."

And that was that. So now I'm just trying to decide how I feel about it. I don't have a paint program capable of leaving a watermark, so I can't "protect" them that way.

I don't know. I'm on the fence about it. All I know is that I'm not making a decision about it right now.

Adding Some Flair

I hate it when I can't get a perfectly good piece of code to fucking work! *screams*

Okay, so I'm not actually upset enough to scream but it's still pretty damn frustrating.

Master is doing His own form of nerding tonight. He's been rocking out on some video games. It's all good. So I decided to do some nerding of my own. I found lots of cool little things I could do to keep my blog the same, but give it some added flair. I love flair. (No, not those stupid buttons from the movie Office Space. Although, that movie is funny as hell.)

So, I did some redecorating. *spreads arms wide to display the awesomeness that is my blog* Isn't it pretty?!

Let's see here... *speaking as if I'm giving you a room to room tour of my house*

I changed it so that rather than saying "older posts" and "newer posts" when you reach the bottom of a page, it shows you the title of the next or previous blog post. I think that's nifty.

Above where you leave your comment, instead of having plain old text there is now an image inviting you to leave your comment. Also pretty nifty.

The recent posts widget got an overhaul and now instead of just showing the title of the post, it shows that in addition to the little picture I used for the post as well as a short summary. I think that looks a lot cleaner even though there is more to it, if that makes any sense what so ever.

And the recent comments widget stopped working so I changed that too and now it shows the person's avatar (or lack there of) next to their comment. Sweet, right?

So, you may be asking yourself, "Kitten, what the hell else do you want to change?!"

I'll tell you, because I know you want to know very badly. I want it so that instead of a boring little link showing how many comments there are on a post (and therefore linking to the place where you can leave a comment) I want a comment bubble up by the post title. I found this link telling me how to do it but it's not working! All it is doing is putting a blank space in between the date and post title. It's not adding anything at all. I've searched on the web for other ways to do it and have tried them as well, but those are also not working.

This is when my bipolar kicks in and makes me slightly obsessed with figuring it out. I keep telling Master that I'm almost done and then 15 minutes later I'm still plugging away at it. Damn.

Watch, I'll actually get it to work and end up not liking it or something.

Okay, I have to give up... at least for now. If anyone has any tips/suggestions/pointers I'd really appreciate it!

Permission Denied - *UPDATE*

Today several fellow bloggers and/or followers of my blog were kind enough to let me know that my blog posts were being lifted and posted here. It seems that my blog isn't alone in this. So, if you blog you may wish to check it out and see if the same is being done to your content. I have reported them as well as commented on one of the posts they lifted from me telling them to remove any and all blog posts of mine due to the fact that I never gave them permission to lift and post them on that blog, or any other blog.

Now, I know that not all of my blog posts are interesting. Sometimes I'm just doing a normal old blog post. Other times I'm doing Eden Fantasys posts and other times I'm doing sexy stuff about what Master and I have been up to.

Now, yes... this person is not technically claiming these posts as their own as there is a link stating where the original information came from. However, that doesn't mean that it is right. After all, I know I would feel bad about taking someone else's post and posting it on this blog, without permission, yet still linking back.

If you ask permission first that's one thing. Then you are giving me the chance to either grant you the permission to repost my words or I can decline politely.

Permission was not asked and therefore it was never granted.

We had a similar problem not that long ago regarding pictures. In fact, that's why you don't see pictures here anymore.

Someone started lifting the pictures of me that Master had taken and putting them on their blogs and/or feeds. Permission was never granted for that. It had happened more than once with different people lifting them and so eventually Master and I got tired of it and He instructed me to take the pictures down. They have never been posted on this blog again. It kind of sucks because I know that Master enjoyed having me post the pictures and I sometimes miss putting certain ones up as well. But here we are. It's better this way.

Just so there is no confusion in the future, if you ever see a blog post of mine on any other blog but this one, it was lifted. The only exception to this would be a previous blog that I moved from. However that would be clearly marked and would provide a link to the new blog URL.

The only other exception I can possibly think of is if, for some reason, a fellow blogger came to me and requested permission to repost something I wrote and I allowed it. However, I would post such here as well as request that the individual(s) that I allow to do so state in that post that they were given permission by me to create that post and include a link back to the home page of this blog.

There is a copyright at the bottom of this blog, as there is on almost every blog I've ever read. But in addition to that I've added another copyright on the sidebar.

By the way, anyone know how to protect a RSS feed so that there is a copyright at the end of each post that wouldn't show up on the posts as they are seen on the blog itself? I was looking into it but it seems all the plugins are for WordPress only.

*UPDATE* It looks like the author of the blog linked above has changed their blog to invited readers only.

Frustrated Nerd

Okay, well this evening was slightly frustrating. I had tried to alter my blog just a little bit. I wanted to do two things.

1. I wanted to make it so the comments could nest. As in there would be a "reply" button next to a comment so that you could leave a comment directly below it.

2. I wanted to make it so the Blogger "reactions" would show up under each post.

This theme is not a standard option for Blogger. I had to download the template and then upload it to Blogger. Once that was done I could go in and tweak the coding.

I had never messed with those two specific things before. And since it is easy to screw up the whole thing with removing or adding a line of code it kind of ticked me off. Not to mention the fact that when I would preview it prior to saving it it would look fine. Then I would save it and look at the blog normally, and yeah.. not so much.

I went back and just copied my backup HTML/CSS that I had saved but it just wasn't coming out right. I don't know what the fuck happened. So, I had to reupload the original theme template and start over.

When I originally uploaded the theme it was a bit different as Blogger hadn't switched to their new site yet. This time I couldn't move the damn nav bar so if I allowed it, it showed up in the side bar rather than on top. Fuck. So I just removed it entirely and added a "Log In" link so people can log into their Blogger account if they wanted to comment or whatever.

No big deal. Easy side fix.

But I still can't get the nesting comments to work and every time I try to add the reactions it either doesn't work at all, or it doesn't show up correctly. Blah.

I gave up on it for the night. I don't know if I want to dick with it again because I hate having to start from scratch again. Then again that kind of thing gnaws at me so I may continue to try. After all, what's to lose?

Update: Okay, as I'm sure some of you may have noticed I did end up figuring out how to get the reactions to show up! Yay! Now, hopefully they work correctly! I decided to give up on the nesting comments. Also, I made it so the top navigation links aren't stuck in uppercase. Let me know what you guys think!

Searching....

Last night after I made the little icon for the 2012 Sex Blogger badge I got this little itch for coding. I have absolutely no idea why since that was not coding at all except for when I replaced the image code. *shrugs*

So what happened? I all of a sudden went on a kick about finding a new template for my blog. I love this one, I really do, which makes me wonder why the hell I thought it would be a good idea to search for a new on in the first place. So I searched, and searched, and searched some more.

Most of the ones I found I just absolutely hated upon sight. Others I loved certain things about them but hated other parts. Then of course there were the ones I found "okay" and some others that I really, really liked but weren't the right colors or layout. Yes, I'm fucking picky! I know. *laughs*

I do not have the coding capabilities to make a really kick ass theme. I just don't. I'm willing to admit this. Plus I don't really have the time/energy to make a complete from scratch rocking template. Ugh. Just no.

So then I go back to my blog after searching for a few hours last night and then a couple of hours again today and I'm looking at it. Then I realize that ya know what? This one fits me. It's the perfect color combination for me and I just... well I've grown attached to it as odd as that may sound.

I've changed templates in the past (some of my long time readers may even remember some of the old ones) and I would get an itch or find some kind of flaw that took me a long time to see or maybe I even just grew tired of it. This one? The itch is kind of there, there are no flaws, and I'm not tired of it.

So why put myself through the hassle and frustration when I honestly love this one and am just trying to feed a small desire to code? Hell, if anything I could just tweak a few lines of code on this.

That's the other thing I thought about. I could totally change the color scheme. Rather than blue/aqua have red or purple. But I don't think it would look right. At least I can't picture it wen I look at the blog as it is now.

But the more I look at this one the more I realize I love it just the way it is. What do you guys/gals think?

I Made The List

I recently received an e-mail from a fellow blogger, Kira. She let me know about something that I had absolutely no clue about. It was surprising to say the least. I made the Top 100 Sex Bloggers of 2012 list! This is a list that is posted on Between My Sheets.

I was so pleased and shocked to be honest with you! I am truly honored to have made it onto the list. I'm number 55! I made sure to nab the little badge as I am proud of it, even if I didn't know about it! The website says that I may create my own badge so I took the liberty of creating my own graphic, but I left every other piece of coding the same!

I'm not sure how my blog got nominated or how they are judged but it's so nice to know that someone noticed my blog and finds it that enjoyable!

If you enjoy my blog I want to thank you for reading my words and thoughts here. If you nominated me, thank you very much for feeling that I deserved it!

I know it's not all sex, sex, sex but I am glad that regardless of the boring posts every now and then that you stifle the yawning long enough to get to a post you do like. *winks*

So again, thank you Kira for letting me know about this! And thank you to all of my readers!

Permanent Markings

One thing I've noticed about blogging every other day rather than blogging every day is that I have time to kind of think about my posts. I mean, obviously I have time every day. But when it was an every day occurrence it was just mainly day to day stuff or things that happened on the weekends that my mind seems to focus on. But lately I've had some deeper thoughts and I'm trying to focus more on Master and I rather than focusing on the other shit. I prefer it this way. As I've said I can post every day if I want to. But I am required to write every other day. I've also noticed that my posts seem to be longer as well. I think it's because I have more time to brain storm and I don't feel like, "Ugh. What the hell do I write about tonight?!"

The reason why that thought ran through my head is because yesterday and today I had my last post swimming around in my brain on and off. I was saying how symbols of my submission to Him are important. I had also rambled on about the fact that I miss Him being able to yank me around by my collar.

I have markings that I cannot take off. I was saying how my wedding ring will never be off my finger. Well, aside from the small stuff like putting lotion on my hands or things of that nature. You know, normal shit.

The markings I am talking about are related to body modification. There are two tattoos that I have that directly relate to Master. I don't have His name or initials tattooed on me. We had toyed with the idea of having His initials done in a stylized way. I already know the design I want. It's kind of looks like a brand. I know where I would put it too. I don't have a lot of room left but I need to do keep it so I can cover it with short sleeves. As a result I think on the back of my neck would be perfect. I have thick hair and I hardly wear my hair up. And when I do, it's not at work. So my hair would keep it covered. My hair is finally getting longer. It's just past the tips of my shoulder blades, which is damn near the middle of my back.

Little side jump: Master doesn't want me cutting my hair short again. He likes it but He prefers my hair long. I don't know if I had already mentioned that or not. But if not, now I have.

Like I said, my hair would cover the back of the neck tattoo. Master seems to like the idea for a little while and then goes back to not being sure. It's not like He thinks it's a horrible idea or doesn't like the idea of me having His initials, it's simply because He's not sure if He'd like the look of it. He does like the design and the placement makes sense to Him though. He's just see-sawing with the idea. Until He's sure I'm obviously not going to start saving up for it though. That just wouldn't make sense and I would get excited about it only for Him to possibly change His mind. That would suck.

The funny thing is, if I got His initials done it would be my thirteenth tattoo. That honestly just struck me and I found it amusing.

However, as I've said, I do have two tattoos directly related to Him. One is an abstract broken circle design with a sigil inside. He has the same one, but with a different sigil on the inside of it. It looks similar enough though that you can tell they are connected. The other one is the word slave spelled out in Enochian as an arm wrap directly above the tattoo I described above. Both of these were designed by Him.

Then of course there are the other tattoos He designed for me. They don't have anything to do with a tattoo that matches His or that directly relates to my submission. He designed a wolf which is on my shoulder and a thigh wrap on my left leg.

And last but not least is the scar He gave me before any of His tattoo designs touched my skin. He wanted a way to mark me and mark me He did. He took a knife and did a quick swipe along the left side of my chest, going upward, just above my breast. It's hard to explain. But basically the cut went a little deeper than expected. It wasn't dangerous. It was just a little deeper and wider than expected. It turned out beautifully though. That was done about, oh, eight or seven and a half years ago. Yes, it was rather early on in our relationship. It was within the first year to a year and a half into our relationship.

So, while He can't drag me around by them, they are there permanently. Well, at the very least they aren't coming off without expensive and painful tattoo removal. I just don't see that happening.
