New Heels!

Master and I never have a lot of "mad money". In other words, we can't go buy shit we just want rather than need a whole hell of a lot. When we can, I normally want to get Master something or go out to eat or something along those lines.

This week though we did have a bit of spending money. Not a whole lot, but some. When I told Him, Master reminded me that I have been wanting some new heels for a while now. He has seen me randomly browsing the internet torturing myself. I never really ask for a lot. Don't laugh. You can even ask my Master! I'm really hard to shop for during the holidays and special occasions. I just don't want a lot of stuff and when I do it's mainly practical stuff. You know, stuff for the apartment. Master hates those kind of answers when He asks me what I want for my birthday or our anniversary, etc. He says it's a cop out answer. He just doesn't want me being practical all the time. He loves the fact that I'm not high-maintenance, but He still wants to get me things I want rather than need.

So when He suggested the heels I was a bit hesitant at first. I asked Him at least three times if He was sure. He said yes. Now while I could have bought some new clothes to wear to work, where is the fun in that? Plus it's not like I really need them, it would just be me expanding my work attire. And as Master said, He wants to get me something I want. Heels or work clothes? Heels win.

So off to the mall we went! I don't like going to the mall often because it's so damn crowded and people are inconsiderate assholes. Today though I didn't want to buy the heels online and pay shipping and I didn't want to go to like Walmart or something like that. There were a few different stores I wanted to check, but I knew that at least two of the three I wanted to go to were expensive. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I told Master we should get out Payless first. Now, going to Payless may not sound like a step above Walmart but to me it is. It's shoes at a reasonable price. I'm all over it.

I was afraid that it was going to take a while as I'm picky about my heels. I must love the heels if I'm going to buy them. Heels are not a necessity so if I'm going to buy a luxury item I'm going to love it damnit. *stomps foot*

I was worried that if it took too long Master was going to become bored and I would become aggravated. It doesn't take me long to become aggravated when I'm buying a luxury item. I don't need it so I don't want to take forever finding it.

But all I had to do was walk into the aisle for my size and there they were, calling out to me. I picked them up and asked Master if He liked them. If it's heels Master has to love them as well, since I'm wearing them for His pleasure and to look attractive for Him. I loved them and as an added bonus they were on sale! Bonus!

They were normally $49.99 and I got them for $29.99. Hell yeah!

So what did I buy? These beautiful heels. I think I like them so much because it looks kind of like bondage shoes. I mean, obviously they aren't, but they zip up, have a tie up front and two buckles. It's probably the buckles that do it for me. It's a thicker heel than I'm used to but it still looks great.

So I'm a happy girl! Master grins at me whenever I tell Him how much I love them. He is happy that I am happy. Plus, how can He not be happy to have His slave in heels?

Work Wear Wish List

I know I've done wish lists in the past. But this one is a bit different.

My current job, although it is an office environment allows us to dress extremely casual as we do not have any customers coming in and clients very rarely show up. What do I mean by extremely casual? Well, we can wear jeans, sneakers, t-shirts.. you get the picture.

Now, where as I enjoyed it and still do to a point.. it doesn't feel like a very professional job. I mean my job is important. I'm an analyst and the information I deal with is highly confidential. But because of the dress code it doesn't really feel like a professional job. Now yes, I could go against the whole casual thing and start wearing professional clothing to work. I've done that a few times. But when I have I feel very out of place which makes me feel uncomfortable. Everyone else is walking around in jeans and t-shirts while I'm trying to look nice in professional attire. It's... awkward for lack of a better term. Master and I have been talking and we both agree that I should start looking for a different job that is closer to home and preferably on a bus route.

I have had to use most of my vacation days to take off because the driver in my carpool has taken off and either my car has been in the shop for repairs or I hadn't been counting on needing to take the car so there isn't enough gas to get me to work and back without being on a red line. Part of that is because she normally does that on a non-payday week or the week that rent is due. Since finances are so tight I can't afford to put a lot of gas in the car and we use that just running errands etc. Plus if I do take the car to work and we don't have the money to replace a lot of it then we're kind of screwed.

So yeah. I'm testing the waters on the whole new job situation. I want more independence for getting to and from work so to me being on a bus line or very close to home makes the most sense to me. The only thing is I have to find a job that pays as well or more than what I'm making right now so we can keep our heads above water and hopefully still have some room to do something we want to do.

So, since I am now looking and I am looking at more office work I need professional clothing. I don't have a lot because my current job did not require it and even then I mostly had khakis which to me is not really "professional" attire it's more "business casual". I think I think that way because that's what I wore for my retail jobs.

So anyway, on to the wish list! (I'm mainly doing this so I can keep track of it without adding a lot of bookmarks and so I can reflect on it if I go shopping offline.) The only bad thing is I can't wear skirts unless they are ankle length because of my tattoos. But no biggie there.

Pants/Slacks:

  1.  Basic Black Sailor Pants
  2. Belted Woven Charcoal Trouser
  3. Black Pinstripe Work Pants
  4. Grey Stripe Work Trousers
  5. Slim Bootcut Trouser (Grey)
  6. Slim Bootcut Trouser (Black)
  7. 7th Avenue Flare

Tops:

  1. Tan Blazer
  2. Ruched-Sleeve Cropped Blazer
  3. Lurex Striped Ruffle Blazer
  4. Ponte Knit Grey Blazer
  5. Ruched-Sleeve Linen Blazer
  6. Lace Inset 4-Button Blazer
  7. Sleeveless Shirt with Ruffles and Knots (to go under a blazer)
  8. Ruffle Neckline Sleeveless Shirt (to go under a blazer)
  9. Hudson Two Button Jacket
I'm sure Master will be surprised how many blazers are listed. His mother bought me a blazer for my birthday. I put it on and Master loved it on me. Me? I wasn't sure because I had never worn one before so I wasn't sure how much I liked the look on me. But it does scream "professional" and I think they will "grow" on me. Master wants me to wear my current blazer although I'm not sure where I would wear it or with what kind of pants. And of course I'll need tops to go under them but I think those will be easier to decide on so I'm not listing a lot of them.

I figure with the heels and heeled boots I'll just shop for those in stores and pick out ones I like. Buying shoes online can be tricky.

Drained

I feel absolutely drained right now. First Master and I went to bed extremely late last night. Some where around 4am. We normally stay up late on Saturdays but usually not that late. Then today we slept in longer than we had intended. It was the afternoon before we woke up. We had errands to run which is why we meant to get up sooner but didn't want to set an alarm. The best thing about the weekend is not having to set up an alarm.

Well, we couldn't get out of the errands so we went anyway. Okay to be perfectly honest some of the errands could have waited but it didn't make sense to skip them since we were right there anyway. First we went to the pet store to get our pup some treats. He has a wheat allergy so he can only have certain kinds of treats. We were right by the game store so we stopped there. Master picked up two games that we in the bargain bin that He has played before and enjoyed. We also put $10 down on a game that He really wants. It doesn't come out until March but this gives us time to chip away at it so we don't need to pay $60 up front.

After that we went to another pet store because they are the only ones who sell our dog's food. Too bad they don't also sell his treats. It would save us a trip. He's worth the extra effort though. He's a great dog.

From there we went to K-Mart. We had gone there to get a bucket and a mop, but I also wanted to look at clothes because I wanted to get a few skirts. I wanted a couple ankle length ones so I could wear them to work. I also thought I'd look cute in ankle length skirts. But Master insisted that I also get some shorter ones, which I of course didn't have a problem with. He wants me to buy more skirts so I get away from wearing jeans all the time. I have no problem with that. I like wearing dresses and skirts, I just don't have many that are non-sluttish. Not that there is anything wrong with slutty skirts. I love those too. But I need skirts that I can wear day to day. Long ones for work and like a little above knee length around family and for when I don't want to wear a thong because my skirt is so short that if I bend over even a little I'm showing my ass.

So while Master is grabbing the other stuff I go into the women's clothing section. It wasn't really listed as "misses", "women's", or "plus size". So I did some digging. I could not find one fucking thing that wasn't a large or extra large. No offense what so ever meant towards women who wear those sizes. I just hate it when I can't find clothes in my size. It's irritating as hell. It was too hot out to go to any other stores that sell clothing so I gave up. This bummed me out because I was actually really looking forward to getting some skirts. It's a rarity for me to go "Yes! I should go clothes shopping!". Normally I hate it. So I get myself all excited about it and then a big let down. *sigh*

Hopefully I can go clothes shopping this upcoming weekend or maybe even some time this week depending on how I'm feeling.

I'm still feeling rather drained due to us being in the heat so much today (some of the stores didn't have their AC on) and I just wanted to relax. I normally love being on the computer but right now I just feel like it's a chore to type. I love my blog and I love blogging but I just don't seem to have the energy right now.

More Changes In Plans

We were supposed to go down to my mother's today. But about a half hour before we were going to head down, she called telling me that she had to babysit my nephews. So we decided to switch it to next week Sunday.

So yeah. The busy weekend that was supposed to happen this week... ended up being the weekend we had alone. Next weekend? That's going to be the busy one. Friday is His god sister's, Saturday is probably going to be His mother's, and Sunday is my mother's. But that may be a better thing, because that'll be paycheck week.

Although for some odd reason, it doesn't really feel like we had the weekend to ourselves. Maybe because it wasn't planned that way? I don't know. But that's what it was. We had Friday night alone, Saturday alone, and today alone.

Although we are going a little stir crazy. Yesterday Master was restless, and today I was restless. But then I got a headache that wouldn't go away, so that squashed the restlessness.

We honestly havn't done much this weekend. We bought dog and rabbit food, a new fan, ate food, watched movies, and watched TV series on Netflix. That's been about it.

I'm really hoping Master's job doesn't call Him in next weekend. We have a lot to do, and I want to do it all. I want to go to His god sister's. She is very nice, and we havn't seen her in over 2 years. His mom's? Well, I just want to get that done. Sometimes it's very difficult to get an "appointment" with her. My mom? I just wanna see her.

I'm hoping that sometime in the next month I can get some new work clothes. I found this nice shop that sells business casual clothing that I like the style of. It's New York & Company. I saw a store at the local mall, and I went on their website.. and OMG I want some of those clothes. This is one of those rare "girl" moments, where I want to go clothes shopping. I normally loathe it, but for some reason I have this itch to buy new clothes.. and yes... new high heels. I would love to just take like.. $200.. and blow it on clothes and heels. Some of the clothing at these stores I would even like to wear outside of work. And I have a coupon! Saving money on clothes always rocks. Especially if you can find something on clearance to begin with.

I would also like to buy some new nighties. I have one that I love... and since I got my piercings, I've been wearing it to bed a lot. I don't like wearing a bra to bed, so I figured this is sexy, and protects my piercings at the same time. I havn't had a problem yet with my nipple piercings getting snagged or anything of that nature. So I figure if I have more choices in nighties, it won't be so boring for Master while I'm sleeping and for Him to wake up to.
